IPC assists Irish man detained at Logan
We can not release too many details but can confirm that an Irish man was detained by US Customs and Border Patrol at Logan Airport. He was put on the next plane out of the US after US CBP suggested he may have been coming to work.
Evidence of Status
People meeting friends and relatives from inbound flights are reminded that they may be questioned at the airport about their immigration status. Therefore we want to remind readers to take identification with them when appearing at the airports.
IPC featured on RTE
This week Sr. Maguerite Kelly and Fr. John McCarthy were interviewed by RTE who are doing a special series on the increased number of Irish leaving the island seeking work abroad.
