Fr. John hails from Co. Limerick and was appointed Chaplain in October 2005. He was ordained in his home parish of Dromcollogher in 1995 and worked in Limerick City for nine years prior to joining the Irish Pastoral Centre.

In Limerick Fr. John was actively involved in setting up two youth clubs in his parish, as well as being involved with the senior citizen program. He is also a masters student at Boston College.
