Recent immigrants looking to build a family life in the US face many challenges. We are there to help — from pre-marriage preparation and helping with employment issues to organizing mother and toddler groups. Program services include:

  • Assisting emigrants to find suitable employment and/or housing
  • Resume writing advice and help with improving interview techniques
  • Advice on workers’ employers’, home owners’ and tenants’ rights
  • Mother and toddler groups, which provide support for new mothers and help alleviate the loneliness of parents and individuals with no extended family nearby
  • Mother and toddler group meet every Wednesday, 10am - 12 noon at St Mark's Church, (hall downstairs) Dorchester. Call for directions to St. Mark's Church
  • Pre marriage preparation courses
  • Support & counseling for married couples
  • Advice with medical and healthcare issues or you can call the Boston Health Commission, 800-847-0710 and their link is http://www.bphc.org/programs/initiative.asp?i=277&p=213&b=2&d=
