Irish Dance Classes

Our active cards group gathers every Thursday at 7.30pm. This is a national pastime in Ireland for generations and all are welcome!

Cards 25 Game

Our amazing musicians led by John Kearney and Maureen McNally transform our Centre through music on the third Sunday of each month from 2pm - 4pm. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Traditional Irish Music Session

Our Bumble Bees meet every Thursday at 11am for knitting, crochet and great conversations! All are welcome! Complimentary tea and scones provided.

Bumble Bee Knitting and Crochet Group

The IPC invites the community to join us on the third Sunday of each month before our Trad Session at 12:30pm for our community lunch! Enjoy a delicious spread in partnership with local community restaurants!

Community Lunch

We gather on the weekends throughout the GAA Football and Hurling championship season for live games. Schedules are posted each week and complimentary tea, coffee and pastries are served. Come support your county!

GAA Sports Games

At IPC, we recognize the legacy of those who came before us. Each year, we commemorate Irish history in Boston through events like our Annual Mass at the Deer Island Memorial, our celebration of Traditional Irish Holidays such as St. Patrick's Day and St. Brigid's Day, as well as visits from guest historians and authors. Check out our list of events to see what's coming up. 

Cultural Events

 Our popular "Fish n Chips" night is a wonderful opportunity to socialize on the First Friday of the month from 5 to 7pm. Advance registration is required by calling the centre at
(617) 265-5300. 

Supper Clubs

IPC offers three engaging weekly programs designed for toddlers and their caregivers.

Toddler Tuesdays
10am - 12pm – A relaxed, unstructured free-play session.

 

Music & Movement with Miss Kathy –
A fun, interactive class held every Wednesday followed by freeplay
10am - 12pm,

 

Zumbini – A 45 minute high-energy music and movement program every Thursday 10:30 AM (RSVP Required).

Annual Events & Fundraisers

We celebrate annual community and fundraising events the Jimmy Wall Golf Tournament, Thanksgiving Lunch and a New Years Day Swim! Special events also take place throughout the year. All events are posted on our Facebook page and our website.

Branches

IPC welcomes school groups for engaging visits that explore Irish culture, heritage, and community life. Throughout their visit, students experience a meaningful connection to Ireland’s rich traditions and its ongoing influence in Boston. These visits offer a unique opportunity for cultural exchange, learning, and community engagement. If your school would like to visit the IPC please contact events@ipcboston.org

Visits from Schools

IPC warmly welcomes local sports teams for dinners and team bonding after training sessions, as well as visiting teams from Ireland looking for a Boston Irish welcome and some home comforts. Sports Team Visits

Join the Irish community every Sunday for a "dip" in the ocean! Held year round, this is a great way to connect to home where the weekly dips are held throughout Ireland! For more information, please call the Centre at (617) 265-5300 and we will connect you to the Dippers!
