Recent immigrants looking to build a family life in the U.S. face many challenges.  This group is a peer-led group creating a welcoming space for parents/carers and pre-school aged children to meet, socialize and engage in free-play in an informal environment. Children can interact with other children and experience new play opportunities whilst parents and carers can enjoy the company of other adults and share experiences, support, and advice.
Groups meet weekly at St. Mark's Church (basement hall) 1725 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA  02122.  St. Mark's church is the 'original home' of the Irish Pastoral Centre.
Annually we hold a 'Family Fun Day' where families have an opportunity to wear their 'County Colors' and participate in good old fashioned 'filed day' traditions with the egg and spoon race, the 3-legged race, wheelbarrow race, and parents get to participate too.
